"Your life is in your hands"

“One day a partially deaf four year old kid came home with a note in his pocket from his teacher, "Your Tommy is too stupid to learn,

get him out of the school." His mother read the note and answered, "My Tommy is not stupid to learn, I will teach him myself." And

that Tommy grew up to be the great Thomas Edison. Thomas Edison had only three months of formal schooling and he was partially deaf.”

Sometimes we think that life is full of sorrow and misfortune and that it’s always like that. God has sent us to earth to suffer, may be as you think, But he has given us some things that we never realize before its late.

The first and foremost blessing that god gave us is our heart. Here I do not mean the physical ‘heart’ but the conscience which helps us to decide what we want. He may not have given us the control over what happens to us in life and yet surely, he has given us to ability to decide how we should feel about what happened or happens.

Edison’s mother could have been discouraged and if she had not believed in the positive part of life, we would never have had a bulb to read our books and we would never have known Edison.

That’s life, if you believe that you ‘cannot’, then you will never ‘can’. What ever life throws at you, just take a shot, who knows whether you would hit the bull’s eye.

My dear friends, Life are not a place where you should try to hide from everything. Instead take A BOLD STEP. If you fall never mind it, rise again and take another step, and continue until you start RUNNING.

Because these bold steps that makes a difference between you and your fellow beings, good day my friend and thanks for reading this. Hope you gained something from this and please do post your comments and suggestions also.

True Indian

Well after a heck tick day at college, i am finally back home, and am having a cup f nice hot coffee.

but there is a lot of personal importance to this blog, actually its about a man whom i saw on my way back,in a private bus. This is a thanksgiving to that man in a way. he gave me two lessons to remember. some thing about what a normal kerala boy suffers from, each day is the problem here also but,at the end hope you would see the difference.

In kerala, there is a right in constitution for students who travel by private bus, that is,they need to pay only quarter the price of bus ticket. you might think wow,but each day a normal boy in kerala needs to here lots of abuse from conducters of the buses due to this, they are not even allowed to sit in vacant seats.

Today in my way back,i travelled in such a bus.conducter of bus told us not to sit,but then one of the passengers got up and asked me to sit with him,he protected me from the conducters snare all the time, a very rare human being, i met there,I thought. But then I realized that he was just doing what an Indian citizen should be doing. How many people like him can you find.

We have doctors, engineers, architects, professors, managers ,teachers, social servents, but this man was just a carpenter with only 9th std education and I can guarantee that 90% of people in the bus was more educated than him. Today I found that its not the attitude of the person that determines his true value. He was ‘gold’ while others were ‘bronze’.

This was my 1st lesson, now my second lesson was that he reminded me about being fearless and that there is no point in studying if you are afraid to do the right. He told me that he was the 1st son out of 9 in his family and so to support family, he had to stop his education. That reminded me of the duty, that we as educated Indians had.

With lots of prayers for that and his family I praying every one to remember the lessons of this Indian and live it.

teaching

Today i wm sharing details about a person who started taeching me quite recently in my new year
well you might wonder why i am writing about a teacher, well simply because he is different.I am an engineering student and day in and day out what i or you(if you are also in my situation)might be listening to lectures, whole day about something that may have no significance in our lives.
Education in india has got a speciality.they teach you everything except how to live? yes i mean it,they donot teach you how to be a good citizen.so let me come back, about the sir,the speciality with him is that he divides his classthat is an hour into 2.
1st half he teaches his subject and rest of the time,he guides us,he talkes about life, discipline, higher studies and all that
the ground level is,we all like him, though the reasons may vary
now i am going to ask you a question, are you redy to experiment with your life.do you always want to take the beaten path like others or do you want to make a difference?
think about it,because i believe that god has given us enough and more powers to do that.its just that we are afraid....Be brave to take new steps.....
